Tomato soup latte with herbed focaccia
Brunch 24 March 2007. Tomato soup latte with soy milk foam (plum tomatoes, white wine, orgeno, basil, sea salt, black pepper, soy milk, vegan worchestershire sauce) and herbed focaccia (whole wheat flour, basil, oregano, sea salt, yeast).
I adapted the latte presentation concept from a mushroom/onion soup in the Artful Vegan.

Oh my god, I love your tomato soup latte presentation! It looks so posh. And, I'm mad for focaccia.
Thanks for your comment on my blog, by the way! I'm glad I've found yours.
Thanks -- I only wish it were orginal. It's fun and easy though (you just need an espresso machine or a milk foamer -- it's kind of neat because the density of the soup keeps the soymilk and foam separate).
I love focaccia, too. It's nice and flexible (you can make panini with it, eat it by itself...).
Tomato soup latte? With soy milk foam? Oh my, that is spectacular! And how awesome is it to have focaccia that's not laced with cheese or other dairy product of some sort! It looks gorgeous, and you already know how i love that plate. Fantastic!
lol!! that is AWESOME! i would be so excited to eat this tomato soup latte.
i was watching an awful cooking show on the food network, and sandra lee was making a dessert that was supposed to look like a baked potato. now why on earth would you want your dessert to look like that!? latte on the other hand, i adore.
That's funny. That reminds of the Simpsons ep in which Marge makes the desert that looks like a hotdog). Next time I think it will have to be tomato soup latte with grilled soy cheese focaccia -- may as well go all out.
Thanks, K! Sometimes i like my plates, sometimes they make me dizzy... ;)
