Whole wheat pan pizza w/mango vegan cheese sauce (mango, white vinegar, nutritional yeast, sea salt, garlic, ginger), shiitake mushrooms and kale (sea salt, evoo/flax oil, tamari).

How was it? It looks delicious! I haven't done much vegan pizza experimentation, but I'd like to. I'm mostly wondering how the "mango cheese sauce" tasted? Mango seems like such an odd choice, but if it's as tasty as it looks, I'm definitely willing to try!

It was good. Mango has a very similar flavour, mouth feel and acidity to tomato -- although it's slightly more acidic.
